Red Blend 'Cascadia'

United States

2023

"Cascadia", named for the tectonic province that shapes the Willamette Valley, is a co-ferment of Pinot Noir (97%) and Gamay (3%), inspired by the many European wine regions that produce light, fresh red wines intended for early consumption. The fruit was sourced from two vineyards within the Willamette Valley: Hanson (alluvial soils) and Sartori Springs (marine sedimentary soils), and was fermented with 30% whole clusters and aged for nine months in neutral oak before bottling, unfined and unfiltered. 12.8% abv.
