The acronym Berg comes from Auf dem Berg and Silberberg, two neighboring hillside vineyards. From six plots on 3.18 acres planted at the turn of this century, facing south-southeast. Clay-limestone soil with roughly three feet of rocky clay overtop of hard limestone. Native fermentation, aged on fine lees in stainless steel for a minimum of one year. 10,800 bottles produced.
