Auxerrois 49%, Gewürztraminer 27%, Riesling 24%. Fossil & Fawn's take on a 'Gemischter-Satz' style bottling - this single site white blend comes from old plantings (37-50 years) on the red volcanic soils of Sunnyside Vineyard, just south of Salem, OR. The Auxerrois and Gewürztraminer were picked on the same day and pressed together. The Riesling was harvested two weeks later and was foot-trodden before pressing and used to top the fermenting barrels of Auxerrois/Gewürztraminer - in a mix of French and Oregon oak. Bottled unfined/unfiltered.
