NEW with vintage 2020. Ried Zieregg “Kapelle” is on a high plateau just above the winery at 470 meters above sea-level, just next to the Karmeliter Chapel. The area getes sun all day long and is protected by a forest’s edge. The terroir is water repellent, a heavy clay & loam on coralline limestone, formed from a primordial sea 16 million years ago.  After natural spontaneous fermentation, 30 months on the fine lees in small old oak barrels; bottled unfiltered.
