The fruit for this Zinfandel Rosé comes from Clockspring Vineyard in Plymouth, CA (Amador County, Sierra Foohills). Clockspring has been growing exceptional Zinfandel in the region's decomposed granite soils since 1974, and has been CCOF certified organic since 1992. The wine was made from 70% direct press Zin, blended with 30% carbonic Zin during fermentation and aged in neutral French oak barrels until spring for bottling. Unfined and unfiltered.
