"Very smoky with a mountain of dried-herb character, this very late-released Steiermark sauvignon blanc is very savory with a pronounced licorice note on the medium- to full-bodied palate. So much structure and depth, but don’t expect a wealth of bright fruit. The wine has passed out of that phase into new territory for this grape. Long, very refined finish."
