Malayeto is made from older vines of Garnacha from a single vineyard planted on rocky clay and limestone soils. Made in tank it ages 9 months in 300L used French oak barrels.

"Racy strawberries, raspberries, pomegranates and white pepper. Beguilingly light, but the tannins are hefty despite the soft extraction. There`s ripeness, but also crunchiness and etherealness. The long, brambly and vibrant finish shows its drinkable nature. Drink or hold."

"A fantastic expression of Garnacha from Fitero, in the southern area of the DO Navarra. The very warm year has produced an even greater intensity and concentration of fruit with ripe red cherry and strawberry jam, but it has lost nothing of its drive and energy. There’s a certain fleshiness which fills out the palate and results in a very morish wine. 2024-30"

"The 2022 Malayeto surprised me. This wine is always harmonious and goes beyond the variety even in a warm, dry and ripe year like 2022. And it has a harmony and balance, coming through as clean and expressive, with precision and definition. This is the 10th vintage for this plot of Garnacha grown on an alluvial terrace. It fermented in stainless steel and concrete and matured in a 4,000-liter oak vat and 13 500-liter French oak barrels for 12 months. It has 13.78% alcohol, a pH of 3.4 and 5.5 grams of acidity. 13,900 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2024."
