An 12 year single cask, finished in an ex-bourbon barrel. 57.1% abv. Benrinnes is an active Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery located at the foot of the Ben Rinnes mountain near Aberlour, Scotland. Owned by global spirits giant Diageo, it functions primarily as a "workhorse" distillery, producing roughly 2.5 to 3.6 million liters of pure alcohol annually to provide a flavorful, blending base for household names like Johnnie Walker. Because its production is heavily dedicated to blends, official single malt bottlings are incredibly rare, making Benrinnes a highly prized "hidden gem" among whisky enthusiasts and independent bottlings.
