"Darkly floral, the 2022 Bianco Terre Siciliane Altomare opens with aromas of incense, pine shavings, exotic tea leaves, flower petals and apple butter. It's silky smooth and round with cooling acidity, ripe orchard fruit depth and a tactile minerality. This delivers a sweet-and-sour sensation that pinches the cheeks as a saline resonance lingers. The 2022 is a skin-contact Grillo loaded with character, but likely to be quite polarizing. I, for one, like it a lot."
