A new Chardonnay bottling from Jason and Molly Drew, highlighting the cooler zones of Mendocino County. The wine is composed of 58% estate fruit from Drew’s Faite de Mer Farm in the Mendocino Ridge and 42% from Clow Ridge Vineyard in Anderson Valley. Both sites are farmed organically on decomposed sandstone and shale soils. The wine was fermented and aged for 10 months in neutral French oak before bottling. The 2024 Chardonnay is dintinctive in style with great freshness and acidity, showing green apple and pear notes and a clear saline quality.

This inaugural release is a lovely and balanced wine with aromas of citrus pith, stone fruit, wildflowers and a hint of lychees. The palate is crisp yet round, with a lively structure driving the stone fruit flavors. Medium-bodied.
