Chenin Blanc from the Coquelicot Vineyard in the Los Olivos AVA of the Santa Ynez Valley. Originally planted in 1997, the vineyard was acquired by the Rosenson family in 2005 and has been CCOF-certified organic since 2015. The site is planted on Ballard series soils, a gravelly fine sandy loam. The fruit was whole cluster direct pressed and fermented with native yeasts in neutral French oak. Aged for 18-months in French oak before being racked and bottled, unfined and unfiltered. 10.9% abv.
