Gregorio Hernández López, along with his brother Gonzalo, were two of the first mezcaleros to partner with Casa Cortés, back in 2013. They have mostly produced Barril for El Jolgorio and in 2014 they began producing Espadín for the Nuestra Soledad Ejutla single village expression. This astounding Tobaziche is distilled once using a copper “refrescadera” still. This is an incredibly rare bottling from a legendary mezcalero, with only 80 liters made. 63.7% abv
