Mondeuse from Johan Vineyard (Demeter certified biodynamic) in the Van Duzer Corridor AVA. Named 'Achelous' after a Greek river god, and the Missoula Floods which shaped the entire PNW, but specifically the Van Duzer Corridor. The site is planted on a base of marine sedimentary soils with granite deposits and volcanic loam. Fermented with 20% whole clusters and aged for 10-months in neutral 228L French oak before bottling.
