One of the top sites in Santenay. Chevrot has 1.5 hectares of vines that average 50 years old. There is no clay in this site and the terroir is marl from the Bajocian period. The Clos Rousseau always plays a game of contrasts, it's powerful and elegant. The tannins are always very fine, giving structure to the purple fruit and floral notes. It's a beautiful expression of Santenay.
