Syrah (97%) and Viognier (3%) from a north-facing parcel of WeatherEye Vineyard on Red Mountain in Eastern Yakima Valley. Both the Syrah and Viognier vines are ungrafted and planted in rocky volcanic basalt soils. The wine was whole-cluster fermented with ambient yeasts, and matured for 22-months in French oak (25% new) before bottling, unfined and unfiltered.
