Ansonica/Vermentino/Trebbiano/Malvasia field blend. The Padovani sisters source the fruit from a grower friend on the Tuscan coast in Capalbio to make what they characterize as a "Mediterranean white" . The co-planted varieties grow on sandy, iron-rich soils, are organically farmed and average around 60 years old. The bunches are harvested by hand. Part direct-press, part maceration of several days (5 days in 2022). Fermentation is spontaneous and without sulfur in steel. The wine is blended aged for 5 months in oak and 14 months in steel and bottled without filtration.
