Sierra de ToloñoCaminos de Santa Cruz
Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain
(Formerly the Rivas de Tereso bottling!) This is Sierra de Toloño's ultimate expression of Tempranillo. From a single-vineyard planted on pure limestone and rock, it ferments in amphora and then ages for an year in French Oak. The wine is textured, rich with black fruit.

Sierra de ToloñoGarnacha de Altura
Garnacha from Rioja, Spain
This is a first release from Sandra and it is almost hard to believe that the wine turned out so beautiful ((let’s not forget that Sandra is still a relative new winemaker). She, of course, will say it was all due to the vineyards where the wine came from, and she might not be wrong. The grapes...

Viura from Rioja, Spain
From 5 parcels of 87-year-old, very low-yielding vines of 4 different varieties: Viura (49%), Malvasía (49%), Calagrana (1%) and Rojal (1%), all hand-harvested at the same time and co-fermented in a new French 500L barrel.  "Nahi" is a Basque word meaning "desire."

Sierra de ToloñoRioja Blanco
Viura from Rioja, Spain
100% Viura—an indigenous variety here—from biodynamically farmed vineyards, 1.5ha of which Sandra owns and 7.5 ha of which she rents. She is always the first to harvest, usually around the 3rd week of September, and she decides when it's time by tasting the berries. Minimal treatments are "easy,"...
Sierra de ToloñoRioja Tinto
Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain
100% Tempranillo from a high-altitude (600-750m) vineyard.  The grapes are 100% destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous and takes place in tank; the wine then spends a year in neutral French oak (225-L). No fining or filtering. 25,000 bottles made.
Sierra de ToloñoRivas de Tereso
Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain
In only its second year of existence, Rivas de Tereso is clearly an important bottling for lovers of New Spain! From a single vineyard planted to Tempranillo that ripens earlier and shows more minerality than the vineyards used for her entry-level Rioja. Fermented spontaneously (and very slowly) in...
