Grenache from Fenaughty Vineyard in the Apple Hill district of El Dorado County. Fenaughty Vineyard is farmed by Chuck Mansfield and is situated on a north facing slope at approximately 2,800 ft elevation, on volcanic clay-loam soils. The fruit was fermented with 50% hand-destemmed, and 50% whole-clusters, and aged for 6 months in stainless stell and 3 months in neutral French oak before bottling, unfined and unfiltered. 13.2% abv.
