Roussane (60%), and Mourvèdre (40%) from Beyers Lane Vineyard in Grass Valley. The site was planted in 2010 on decomposed granite soils, and experieces a cooler micro climate from its positioning between two mountains within the Sierra ranges. The Mourvèdre was whole-cluster fermented in the pressed Roussanne juice in an open-top vat, and aged in neutral French oak for 23 months before bottling, unfined and unfiltered. 12% abv.
