Syrah (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), and Merlot (20%) from the Ellsworth Home Vineyard in Penn Valley. The site was originally planted in 2002 and augmented with additional plantings after Bryn and Jeffrey took over the property in 2020. The vineyard is north-facing at approximately 1,500 ft, with granite-based, iron-rich red clay soils. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were co-fermented whole-cluster with direct-pressed Syrah, and aged for 11 months in neutral French oak before bottling, unfined and unfiltered. 13% abv.
