L’Ensemble Pinot Noir is the flagship bottling from Domaine Nicolas-Jay, created by Jean-Nicolas Méo to showcase the most expressive parcels from the Willamette Valley vineyards the estate has worked with over the years. The cuvée is drawn from the top barrels of each site and blended to emphasize depth, complexity, ageability, and finesse. It comprises fruit from biodynamic, organic, or LIVE-certified vineyards, representing a diverse range of sites with vine ages from 17 to 48 years grown in the region's volcanic and marine sedimentary soils. The wine was fermented with native yeasts and matured for 14 months in French oak (30% new), then bottled unfined and unfiltered.
