100% Vermentino from Fox Hill Vineyard in Mendocino County. Fox Hill is a CCOF-certified organic vineyard owned and farmed by Broc Cellars, located on Mendocino’s Talmage Bench, an uplifted former riverbed of the Russian River. The soils are a mixture of gravely clay loam with rocky, pebbly sandstone and quartz. The Vermentino was destemmed and macerated on the skins for two days, fermented in stainless steel and then settled to age in concrete tank for seven months before bottling. 12% abv.
