Old World influence meets California terroir in Broc Cellars’ 2023 Sangiovese, a blend of Sangiovese Piccolo (smaller-berried) and Grosso (which contributes darker fruit), grown at Fox Hill Vineyard. The vines thrive in the site’s hilly, rocky soils and a climate reminiscent of their Tuscan homeland. The fruit was harvested to preserve natural acidity, then fermented in stainless steel before aging for nine months in neutral French oak barrique. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. 13% abv.
