First produced in 2013, this bottling is part of the "Monovarietali" project.  The grapes are sourced from a single parcel called Vigna della Pieve, with sandy soils rich in pebbles, planted to Alicante Nero.  This vineyard sits at 250 meters above sea level.  Vinification is with 20% whole clusters (not carbonic).  Macerations 10 days.  Aged one year in concrete.
