The domaine’s vines in the premier cru Les Blanchots Dessus were planted in 1929 and they produce a wine of great depth and richness. Blanchot-Dessus is located just next to Montrachet and Criottes Batard Montrachet. 3-4 barrels produced annually, 25-33% new oak. Aged in barrel for 24 months. 30-45 g/L sulfur added at bottling.

"Mid lemon yellow. While there is an immediate suave richness to the fruit, the stones poke through. Beautifully balanced with grace and energy, a few lemons interspersed with a raft of orchard fruit, brilliantly persistent yet with nuances all the way through. Keeps coming back. "

"The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Blanchot-Dessus 1er Cru plays with a subtle reduction on the nose. It has good intensity with more complexity than the other Chassagne Premier Crus. The palate is fresh and saline, combining a twist of sour lemon mixed with desiccated orange peel. It's a little short on the finish compared to the 2022, yet it still exudes class."
