After years of working with a number of stellar vineyards around the Willamette Valley, Jean-Nicolas Méo created the L’Ensemble Pinot Noir with the goal of expressing top parcels from these select sites. The cuvée is made from the most expressive barrels from each vineyard, and blended to achieve depth, complexity, ageability, and finesse in the final wine. This blend comprises either biodynamic, organic or LIVE certified vineyards only, including a diverse range of sites where the vine age ranges from 16-47 years. The wine was fermented with native yeasts and matured for 14 months in French oak (35% new). Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
