Aligoté from Burgundy, France
This vineyard is just near the winery in Morey-Saint-Denis and was planted in 1925. It's a very rocky soil with limestone from the Jurassic period. Castagnier says that everyone associates Morey with red wines, but the stoney soil is great for whites.
